3. Sungsang Lebam Telak – Kecuali Mengenang Betismu (CDR) Lost Disco Records, 2007 [Rp.15.000]
This second release of Bandung free-jazz act Sungsang Lebam Telak gained positive reviews from most of all music critics for their authentical concept, and the craziness on it. Deathrockstar gave ‘em 9.9 out of 10 in their release. As well as The Jakarta Post and Trax Magazine who legitimated their concept in their media. A debut CD of the one and only minimal ambient act from Indonesia. The project contain a deeply sentimental yet beautiful sound. Ranging influences from Brian Eno to Craig Armstrong. Eluvium maybe not the first acts, The Amazing You did it before them!

He came back with second CD that contains five songs includes a host-remix track & a bonus track from previous release The Amazing You. Still beautiful and minimal. The tracks in the EP intrigues me that they could be an evergreen-ambient-maker in Indonesia. This one is less “robotic” and humanized sounded. The aftermath is that he made a signature sound with its concept that influenced many local ambient acts.
